Covid 19 Safety Protocols

Samson Tours is open for business and ready roll to meet your ground transportation needs.

This is an unprecedented time in our nation’s history. The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on the health of our loved ones, the businesses we rely upon, the health of the global economy, and the way we live our daily lives. As we continue to navigate through these unique and evolving challenges, we want you to know that Samson Tours is here to serve you as safely as possible.

How we keep you safe

We’ve spent the last six months making sure that our fleet remains at the highest level of cleanliness and our staff follows all policies and procedures outlined by the CDC and the United Motorcoach Association (UMA). And with this commitment to responsible practices and protocols we were awarded the UMA AssurClean certificate. This means:

  • Our drivers have participated in training addressing Covid 19 and we have provided all employees with information about COVID-19, how it spreads, risk of exposure, training on proper hand washing practices and other routine infection control precautions.
  • We have and continue to conduct worksite assessments to identify COVID-19 prevention strategies.
  • We continue to use, disinfectant products that meet Environmental Protection Agency’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against COVID-19 and provide employees training on manufacturer’s directions.

Our Cleaning and Safety Protocols

  1. Samson buses are cleaned and disinfected after each trip. All disinfectant chemicals meet the CDC/EPA guidelines for CV-19. All hard surfaces are wiped down during cleaning.
  2. Samson uses an electrostatic fogger after each bus is cleaned. Victory Sprayers’ patented technology provides an electrical charge to solutions, allowing them to wrap conductive surfaces with an effective and even coverage. The chemicals used in the fogger kill viruses and bacteria including the coronavirus.
  3. Disinfectant wipes are used during the trip to wipe down touch points such as rails, doors, and handles.
  4. Drivers have been tested and/or a safety wellness check is performed prior to each trip with a touch-less thermometer. A series of wellness questions are answered by each driver prior to transporting passengers.
  5. Drivers wear masks and gloves. There are barriers behind the drivers.
  6. Hand sanitizer stations are at the front of each bus.
  7. We encourage our clients to wear masks & gloves, stay home if they are sick, wash their hands with hot water & soap, limit what they touch, and practice social distancing. Each passenger must keep the same seat the entire trip. No seat jumping. Passengers must load their own luggage. Passengers must load the bus from the back to the front and unload from the front to the back. If someone becomes ill they must notify the group leader, the Samson driver, and then Samson management must be notified prior to proceeding.

Prepare for your ride with Samson Tours

We must all work together to take these steps so we can all continue to live our lives, get through this time, and emerge stronger together. If you are planning to ride with Samson Tours, please review CDC guidelines for identifying symptoms of COVID-19 and stay away from those that exhibit those symptoms. And please view and follow the CDC guidelines on how not to spread germs, as well.
